Refund Policy
What happens to your money if an engagement is cancelled, delayed or unsuccessful.
The short version
- Government and statutory fees are not refundable once paid to the authority, whatever the outcome.
- Our professional fee is refundable in proportion to work not yet done if you cancel before the application is filed.
- Rejection is not by itself a ground for refund, because the decision is the authority's — but we refile at no further professional fee where the fault was ours.
Government fees
Statutory fees, portal charges, stamp duty, certification body audit fees and assessment agency charges are paid to third parties. Once paid they are outside our control and cannot be refunded by us, regardless of whether the application succeeds.
Cancellation before filing

If an application is rejected
Rejection alone does not trigger a refund, because grant is at the authority's discretion and our fee is for the professional work of preparing and pursuing the application. However:
- Where the rejection is procedural and attributable to our preparation, we respond to the objection and refile without a further professional fee.
- Where the rejection arises from inaccurate or incomplete information supplied to us, refiling is chargeable.
Delays
Timelines we give are estimates. Delay caused by departmental processing, police verification, inspection scheduling or portal downtime is not a ground for refund, as it is outside our control. We will keep you informed of status throughout.
How to request a refund
Write to info@idealcertification.in with your engagement reference and the reason. We will respond within seven working days. Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method, usually within ten to fifteen working days.
